Our team at AzDimension developed an interactive Cure the Kura presentation for COP29 in VR format on Oculus Quest 2. The project aims to restore the ecosystems of the Caspian Sea and the Kura River, which have been severely impacted by climate change, overfishing, and habitat destruction.
The experience also features a detailed virtual sturgeon farm, highlighting sustainable aquaculture practices and the importance of preserving endangered species native to the region. The project was developed for LUMUN Holding as part of their environmental and sustainability initiatives.
COP29, held in Baku, was a major international climate conference bringing together global leaders, organizations, and experts to address climate challenges and promote sustainable solutions. The Cure the Kura VR installation attracted significant attention during the event, with over a thousand visitors experiencing the project and engaging with its message on environmental restoration.
